Techniquest is an interactive Science Discovery Centre located in the heart of Cardiff Bay. We’ve made it easy to host all types of events, from small meetings of 4 delegates to large parties for 1,000 guests. Whether you want to chill out and watch the universe unfold in our 360° digital planetarium or discover something new in our 5 themed zones, we’ve got the perfect venue for you.
Location
Techniquest is located in Cardiff Bay at: Stuart Street, Cardiff, CF10 5BW. With a wonderful outlook over the water and excellent public transport links as well as nearby parking, our venue is well situated for delegates travelling from near or far.
Rooms
As well as the Main Exhibition, we have lots of unusual event spaces to hire including a Planetarium, Learning Hub, Science Theatre and a Lab. We also have a fully equipped Boardroom facility complete with a breakout room, private kitchen and waterfront balcony.
Price
We make event management simple by offering all-inclusive packages. Enjoy an exclusive VIP experience from £15+VATpp, networking events are available from £24+VATpp and our conference packages start from just £43+VATpp. Dinner and party packages are also available upon request.
Sustainability
We are currently working on a net zero strategy across the charity. More details will be available soon.
Accessibility
We aim to make everyone welcome at Techniquest. We have a range of onsite facilities including accessible toilets which are available on both floors. There are also gender-neutral toilets on the first floor, and single-sex toilets on the ground floor.
All new exhibits are designed with wheelchair users in mind and we have lift access to both floors of the exhibition. The pod is a quiet space to decompress from sensory overload from the exhibition floor, or for some it can be used as a private prayer space.
