Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother opened Fairfield Halls on Friday 2 November 1962. The Ashcroft Theatre was opened on 5 November 1962 by Croydon-born Dame Peggy Ashcroft. The concert hall within the Fairfield Halls has regularly been used for BBC television, radio and orchestral recordings. We pride ourselves in providing excellent service and beautiful spaces at competitive rates. Christmas parties, banqueting, conferencing, and exhibitions, it's all possible here! Full technical support and production are also available, including AV.
Location
Fairfield Halls is located on Park Lane, which is a short five minutes walk from East Croydon Station. Croydon is widely regarded as one of the best connected locations in the south, with regular fast connections from the South Coast and Central London. There is a large underground car park on site (fees apply).
