We recently visited The Principal London. The latest addition to the PRINCIPAL portfolio of urban lifestyle hotels, The Principal London has undergone an £85 million refurbishment to restore to its former glory what was the Hotel Russell, a Grade II* listed building designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll and occupying the eastern flank of Russell Square in London’s literary heart, Bloomsbury.
The hotel offers amazing events spaces including the stunning Ballroom which can accommodate up to 400 for reception and 230 for dinner. Additionally, 8 meeting and event spaces with capacity ranging from six to 90 delegates are able to host a variety of different events.
Brand new to The Principal are the decadent splendours of Fitz’s bar and the perfect breakfast spot Burr & Co. coffehouse; at the heart of the hotel you will find the elegant double-height glass ceiling Palm Court and the modern seafood-focused Neptune restaurant.
