EVCOM extends its 2022 conference across three days for meeting meetings planners.

The annual EVCOMference, for meeting meetings planners and visual communication experts, will take place across three days this year, instead of its usual one day.

This new approach will see delegates meet online and in person under the conference theme of ‘Transformation’. Between 3 and 5 May 2022, delegates can attend a crowded conference programme of speakers, webinars, topic-specific events, and discussions.

The new direction to the conference will offer delegates the opportunity to have more meaningful, personal meetings with event organisers and filmmakers, instead of having to put networking and learning into one day.

“Attendees, we have found, are looking for smaller, more personal events with plenty of opportunity to network with industry peers. Our deconstructed EVCOMference offers just that,” an EVCOM spokesperson said.

“Our selection of online events, all of which are free to attend, ensure that accessibility remains at the core of our programming and means that people not yet coming back to London can still make the most of the learning and inspiration embedded in the EVCOMference programme. From industry and business-focused sessions to creativity‐focused sessions, there’s something for everyone this year.”

The programme will start off with a senior leader’s breakfast event, where invited attendees will discuss key industry issues and then hear from Will Page, the former chief economist at Spotify and author of Tarzan Economics. Page will talk about his experience of what the music industry learned about disruption. The senior leaders will make up the live audience for this talk, while others are invited to attend the talk virtually.
