Need a Venue?

Once we have received your brief we will work within an agreed time frame to source an agreed number of suitable venues, negotiate competitive rates and then make provisional bookings. A clear set of detailed proposals will be sent to you for discussion.

If you then require site inspections we will arrange these for you to attend, either on your own or accompanied by an experienced member of our team.

Finally, if you wish to confirm one of the options, we will send the venue the confirmation details and they will draw up contracts to be sent directly to you for checking and signing.

We are paid a small commission by the venues for the business placed with them. The industry standard is for this commission to be 8%. All the leading venues in the UK and worldwide have pledged not to pass this commission on to the client (via their professional bodies, the Meetings Industry Association, the HBAA etc). The venues do this as the volumes of business they receive via agents greatly exceed the number of direct bookings they receive i.e. the industry average for the larger hotel chains is 60%. This percentage is far less than that charged by the major agglomeration websites i.e. booker.com etc whose commission rates regularly exceed 20%.

No, due to our buying power and negotiation skills we will always endeavour to get the best possible rates for our clients and to match any budget. By far the most important drive for us is long term relationships rather than trying to game individual commission levels. As mentioned the vast majority of venues have formally pledged not to increase rates to pay for commission.
