Superb New Venue for Bristol
The Bristol Old Vic has opened up its event spaces for hire following a two-year, multimillion pound restoration.
Restored former banqueting hall Coopers’ Hall (first built in 1744), features high ceilings, over arch windows and views over King Street. The Grade 1 listed room is ideal for up to 130 people theatre-style or 200 standing guests, and can also host up to 120 formally-seated guests for a sit-down dinner.
The Foyle Room is inspired by the building’s Georgian heritage and can seat 12 comfortably for a meeting around a hand-crafted solid French oak table.
The auditorium sits 550, allowing for large awards ceremonies or talks. The space can also cater for a gala dinner on the stage for 180.
The intimate Weston Studio suits conferences or presentations for up to 148 or provides a unique setting for a standing event for 80
