Manchester Central has launched a new partnership with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to improve the region’s business opportunities.

The new partnership has developed from a collaboration which started in 2019 with the launch of the Destination for Business event series, which covers current themes for Manchester business leaders and helps to put the events industry at the focus of conversations.

Who is Greater Manchester of Commerce

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is the largest certified Chamber of Commerce in the UK with over 400 members. The Chamber is based in the centre of Manchester City Centre on Deansgate. It is dedicated to offering businesses to connect with other businesses.

Partnership goals

As part of the deal, Chamber members will have the opportunity to get involved with events hosted at Manchester Central, while event planners will be able to list events on the Chamber’s website to promote their events across the region and enable them to get access to members’ lounges and workspace at Chamber HQ in the city.

Through the partnership, there will be a collaborative promotion of events and continuous teamwork to make sure as many companies in the city as possible have the chance to link with each other.

Kickstarting the partnership, the fifth Destination for Business event will be taking place on 9 February, discussing sustainable development within the city region.
